Richard Primeau

PRIMEAU, Richard - passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at his residence at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Rose Marie Robinson. Dear father of Tammy Primeau. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Scott, Cody, Kendal, Alyssah, Aysen, Christopher, Jake and Hannah and a great-grandfather to many. Brother of Anita Primeau, Sandra Primeau, Kerry Primeau, Mark Primeau, Theresa Primeau, Christina Perkins and Gary Primeau. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Simone Primeau and by his siblings, John Primeau, Betty Gregoire, Larry Primeau, Donald Primeau, Paul Primeau, Michael Primeau and Mary Primeau.

A man of steady purpose, Richard approached life with a strong work ethic and a quiet determination that could be counted on in both ordinary days and demanding moments. His generosity was evident not in grand gestures, but in the consistent, practical ways he showed up for others—offering help, time, and support.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First St. East, (613-933-2841). Cremation. A private interment will take place at a later date.
