LEGER, Roger- at the Cornwall Hospice on Monday, June 4, 2012. Roger Louis Leger of Cornwall; age 81. Beloved husband and best friend, for 56 years to Valeda Leger ( Bercier) of Cornwall. Cherished father of Gerald Leger of Montreal, Denis (Carole) and Maurice Leger all of Cornwall and Lise Villarta (Vincent) of Ottawa. Predeceased by one daughter Nicole Lafleche. Survived by grandchildren Chantale, Joel, Normand, Marc, Alex, Jeremy and also two great grandchildren Kyle and Klayton. Predeceased by granddaughter Angele. Dear brother of Gerard Leger (Jacqueline) of Green Valley, Jules Leger (Fleurette) of Pincourt, and Therese Leblanc ( Late Fern) of Cornwall. Predeceased by his parents the late Arthur Leger and the late Annie Menard. Also predeceased by his brother Marcel Leger (Angeline), and sisters Marie Levert ( Late Eugene), Rose Montpetit (Late Romeo), Yvette Murphy (Late Hughy), Bertha Valade (Late Wilfred). Resting at the Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First St. East (613-933-2841) from 2 PM Thursday. Funeral Friday, June 8, 2012 for Mass of Christian Burial in Ste. Therese de Lisieux Church at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery The family will be in attendance from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM on Thursday and from 9 AM until the time of Funeral on Friday.
