Simone Yvette (Leger) Carriere

CARRIERE, Simone (née Leger) – peacefully, with her daughters by her side on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 98 years of age. Loving wife of the late Sylvio Carriere. Beloved mother of Claudette Coons (Gerry) of Hannawa Falls, Diane Carriere, Lorraine Carriere, Denise St. Louis (Raymond) and Nicole Leger (the late Michel) all of Cornwall. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Daniel, Tanya, Jon, Melanie, Jean-Francois, Sara, Scott, Jamie, Christopher, Jason and great grandchildren Ashley, Mathieu, Isaac, Jacob, Nathaniel, Gabriel, Alexis, Rose, Sam, Sydney, Clara, Camille, Theo, Tahlia, Kaylee, Nicholas and great-great grandchild Milo. Cherished sister of Roger Leger (late Nora) and Jeannette Marion (late Fernand) both of Cornwall. Predeceased by her parents Clara and George Leger, her infant son Norman Carriere and her infant brother Laurent. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES EAST BRANCH, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral. Funeral Service for Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2022 in Nativity Co-Cathedral at 11 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery will held at a later date.
