Throughout Dan’s life he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and his 1964 Chevy Impala. A meat cutter by trade, many would remember Dan at the Comox Super Valu where he worked for many years. Being of Scottish heritage, the bagpipes were a lifelong part of him, whether he was playing them or listening to them.
For Dan family was first and foremost being a devoted husband, father and papa. He will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, storytelling and strength by his wife Verna of 66 years, daughters Coreena(Cory)(Harry), Karen(Norm) and Tracy, his only granddaughter Tara(Lance), grandsons Evan, Duncan(Al)(Jessica) and Zach(Maria), and his great-grandsons that kept him young at heart, Kai and Kohen.
