Eva Mae Frail

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Eva. Eva was a kind and gentle women who cherished the simple things in life. Her love of her family, friends, and every furry animal that crossed her path knew no boundaries. Eva was born in Caledonia, County of Queens Nova Scotia, and grew up with little means but a loving home. She grew up next to the love of her life and her future husband Manning “Mike” Frail.

Eva and Mike traveled to Germany, Winnipeg, Shilo, Chilliwack, and Holberg as a military couple before retiring up in Ootsa lake B.C. and then eventually settling in the Comox Valley. Eva was pre deceased by her Mother and Father, many siblings and the love of her life Manning Frail.

Eva survived by her son and daughter in-law Michael (Teresa) Frail, her daughter and son in- law Juanita (Ken) Mackenzie, and her 4 grandchildren Brien, Kevin, Melissa, and Manning, and by her 3 great grandchildren, Alexander, Violet, and Ivy.

Eva will be missed dearly by all who knew her, and the family would like to say thank you to the staff at the North Island Hospital ER, the many homecare staff who treated her with love and dignity, and a heartfelt thank you to Doctor Daniel Wainberg for his incredible kindness.
