

Ian will join his parents Jean & Norman McLeod, as well as his grandparents Ottawa & Norman McLeod in the Family Plot at the Courtenay Cemetery at a later date.
Ian is survived by his wife Kathy McLeod, daughter Candice McLeod, son-in-law Christian Milne, grandsons Connor and Colby McLeod-Milne, sister Heather (McLeod) Richardson and brother Bruce McLeod.
Ian lived a very Full and Unique life.
Ian loved working on the Dairy Farm in Ont. As a child he spent much time being sent to his grandparents' farm in Comox. Ian made life long friends working on the Ferries in Alert Bay. Ian spent time in the Canadian Army and the American Army where he did a Tour of duty in the Vietnam War in 1968/1969. After that, he met the love of his life and best friend, Kathy; they were together for 55 years. Ian loved to go hunting and fishing with his dad and he absolutely loved camping and all outdoor adventures with his family.
Ian made an impression on people with his helping hands and by telling his many stories about his vast life experiences.
Ian was a Father figure to many. His kindness, support, infectious smile, and fun loving nature made him easy to love. Ian loved his motorcycle adventures; they took him to the beautiful places. He Lived for his wife, daughter and grandchildren.
Ian will be missed.
