Albert is the loving husband to Maria Lopez; beloved dad to Maria (Pito) Hernandez, Sandra (Raymond) Rodriguez, and Rosa Torres; proud grandpa to Raymond Rodriguez, Jr., John Rodriguez, James Rodriguez, Anneliese Rodriguez, Martha (Aidan) Whitlock and Louie Torres; cherished brother to Enrique (Maria) Lopez, Fernando (Irene) Lopez, Rosa Lopez and Mary (Josue) Lamboy; loving uncle to many.
Albert retired after 32 years of faithful service at Inland Steel. Albert was a talented musician, playing all types of percussion instruments. Many years ago, he enjoyed playing and singing with his band the "Soultations." He was an avid gardener, master carpenter, skilled mechanic and jack of all trades. He loved helping people and listening to others and giving great advice. His true loves were God and his family.
Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of his funeral at 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. He will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
