Ann Waycaster

Shelia Ann Waycaster age 72, peacefully passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Ann is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Shears; grandchildren, Stephanie (Nicholas) Hamilton, Rachel (Kevin) McGuffey, Christina Silva and Michelle (David) Morganelli; great grandchildren, Joshua, Xander, Lindsi and Kaci; siblings, Wanda Laws, James (Darlene) Williams, Rita Light and Shirley Williams and many nieces, nephews and her church family. Preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Waycaster and her parents, Oscar and Amy Williams. Ann was a devoted, faithful, active, lifetime member of the Nazarene Church serving as treasurer for nearly 30 years. She was a graduate of Lake Central High School in Dyer. She spent many years working as a caregiver for the mentally handicapped for LCAR. Ann was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma and GG and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN) with Pastor Ron Richmond officiating. Private burial to be held by the family. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
