Cathy L. Oakley, age 71, of Beecher, IL, passed away on November 23, 2025. She is survived by her children, Ryan (Julie) Oakley and Amy (Matt) Graham; grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan, Bella, and Jackson; siblings, Craig and Bill Abel; nephews, Jeff (Christa) and Michael (Rita); and many other friends and family members. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruth Abel.
As per her wishes, Cathy will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Cathy had a great love for music of many different genres. One of her favorite artists was Phil Collins. Cathy was passionate about her career as a caretaker. She was a compassionate, strong, and funny individual. Cathy enjoyed in-depth phone conversations, and could often be found chatting with her brothers, other family members, or friends. Cathy was an amazing mother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed.
