Forrest Lee Werner, age 83, passed away July 14, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Patty Werner; beloved children: Marshall (Diane) Werner and Marilyn (Bob) Mitchell; cherished great grandson, Brandon Werner; and sister, Rosemarie (John) Weyand. Preceded in death by his grandson, Jerry Werner; brother, Louis Werner; and parents: Louis and Marie Werner. Forrest proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from Farris Automotive in Whiting, IN. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013, 10:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN). Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM.
