So sorry to hear of George's passing.  He was such a wonderful neighbor to our Grandmother Beulah, they looked after each other for many years, now maybe they are neighbors in heaven.

Our deepest sympathy to your family at this time. George has been a neighbor of ours for 7 years and he always made sure to call us at night when we would accidentally leave our garage door open! He had such a good heart and was always smiling whenever we would see him.

I am so sorry for your loss, my heartfelt sympathy to you and your loved ones.  I always thought your father to be a gentle giant. He would sit in his chair and just smile and with that smile came comfort...as though he knew everything would be okay.  Such calmness.  He and your mom helped me get through the most difficult time of my life.  I will be forever grateful.  I know he is now reunited with his Betty Jo and they are probably kidding and laughing as they always seemed to do.  God Bless your wonderful dad.

Paula and Don, our sympathies to you on the loss of your father.  Uncle George was one of the kindest people I've ever known, I'm Blessed to have had him as my Uncle and we will miss him dearly.  Please know you are all in our prayers.

George has been our neighbor for that last 19 years, he has been nothing but kind and caring to us. Sitting in the garage watching TV in the summer he would always watch for my little dog maxx when we would escape from the back gate when we would forget to close it, and he call for him and bring him back home. RIP George you were truly great neighbor and you will be missed

To Paula and the rest of the Wirick family. George is now with Betty Jo. I know George will go through hell and high water to get back to his lovely bride. I have seen many families duing my Hospital employment, but I never saw anyone take so much care of his wife when she was ill as did George. I Know God has a very special place fot these two people and hopefully you are proud of their life which obviously well spent. Bev and I cry thinking of all the wonderful social events that we went to but know that they are happy again as we all shall be when we are together again. God Bless you all.

George and Betty were neighbors of ours for several years.  George  was a well respected member of the "Roosevelt Street Bunch."  I have fond memories of George and his family that will not soon be forgotten.  It is my hope that George's family might find peace and comfort in their fun and loving memories.  The world was a better place because of his presence in it.  RIP George.
