Guadalupe Garza

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Josefina Garza; children, Lupe (Belisario) Castillo, Maria Garza, Angela Garza, Javier (Lou Anderson) Garza, Robert Garza and Eduardo Garza; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, San Juana Buenrostro; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Isabel Garza; son, Antonio Garza and sister, Librada Garza.

Lupe was born on November 10, 1936 in Rodriguez, Nuevo Leon. Lupe had a past time of being a Baseball player in Mexico ( he played for Junta Federal). He was retired with 30 years of service at American Steel Foundries. In which he passed his time being a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was a man with a great sense of humor with plenty of jokes that always brought a smile to our face, it was never a dull moment with him. He was the stone that kept the family together. We are privileged to have know known such a great man. He will be truly missed and loved but never forgotten.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN ) with Pastor Daniel Garza officiating.

Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at the funeral home.
