Harry B. Stout, age 66, of La Grange, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, December 07, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Nora P. Stout; children: Claudia Gadson and Thomas Stout; grandchildren: Nicole (Dan) Turpin, Christopher Janik and Allison Janik; great grandson, Aiden Janik; sisters: Shirley (Phillip) Stewart, Leila (Robert) Page, and Rhonda (late Walter) Falk; brothers: Delmar (late Nancy) Stout, Robert Stout, George (Susan) Stout and James (Charlene) Stout.
Preceded in death by his parents: Verland and Henrietta Stout; brother, Frank Stout; sister-in-law, Margaret Stout and dear mother-in-law, Tilly Baumbusch.
Harry proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He loved fishing, hunting and watching his Colts play football. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave. Schererville, IN) Rev. Mark Wilkins officiating. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
