IMOGENE GRIFFIN HIGHLAND, IN Imogene Griffin, age 77, was united with her Lord on April 11, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Rene; son, Michael (Christina); granddaughter, Abigail; brothers: Harlin (Patricia) Ison and John Henry "Duke" (Carol) Ison; and sisters: Dorothy Ison, Rosemary Tyson and Dorothy Rash. Imogene enjoyed the blessing of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Until her illness forfended, she attended Lakewood Baptist Church. Imogene refreshed her spirit by gardening, watching classic movies and reading scripture. Imogene is a retired employee of Jewel Food Stores. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN with Rev. Charles Ison officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
