Jesús is preceded in death by his first wife, Judy K. Sanchez (Hamrick); and sister, Cecelia Sanchez Zepeda.
He is survived by his wife, Estrella Manzo Sanchez; children, Connie M. Matyka, Jesse K. Sanchez, Corinne G. Sanchez, Joshua R. Sanchez, and Francisco A. Sanchez; as well as several siblings and grandchildren.
His memory will remain with us always; in every story, smile, and shared moment. It is with grateful hearts that we find comfort in knowing that he rests in peace, free from pain, and surrounded by the love of those who accompany him from heaven.
Although the pain of his departure is immense, we find solace in the certainty that we will meet again in a place where goodbyes do not exist.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m., with a Committal Service at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
