Joann Victoria Klebs

She is survived by her daughters, Marsha (Paul) Cardin, Patricia (David) Beck-Mason and DeAnna (Steven) Erb; son, Nicholas ‘Nickie’ Klebs; grandchildren, David (Tonya) Beck, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Beck, Ashley and Paul (Alex) Cardin III, Sara Joann and Emily Erb and Rylee Klebs; great grandchildren, Lillianna, Lindsey, Jack and Amara Beck. Also, her long-time childhood friends, Gloria Burkart and Christen Barov.

Preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Klebs, Sr. and son, Richard M. Klebs, Jr.

Joann was born on May 16, 1942 in Blue Island, IL to the late George and Helen Sendra and attended Mother of Sorrow High School. Joann continued her education to obtain her license in Cosmetology. She loved crocheting, making crafts for her family and friends, dollar store shopping, canning, sitting on her front porch and talking with her neighbors and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her friends. Joann loved being a lunch lady at Fieler Elementary School and loved all her ‘kids’ there.

Joann was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN) with Joseph Peete, First Baptist Church, officiating.
