

Judith I. Wagner (née Suzukovich), age 79, passed away May 15, 2026. Judith was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James L. Wagner. She is survived by her sister, Diane Hezlep; and preceded in death by siblings, Eli (Louise) Suzukovich, Patricia (Robert) Fleenor, and Cornelia Ohren. She was aunt to Heather Ramirez, Faith Best, Dawn Hezlep, Barry Robert Hezlep, Jr., Deedee, Danny, Larry, and Kevin; and great-aunt to Jacob Ramirez, Kyle Best, and Paige Best.
Judith was a devoted wife, family member, friend, and community servant whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives. She retired from Dominick's Food Store after many years of dedicated service, where she was known for her strong work ethic and caring spirit.
Judith was a proud and active member of the VFW National Ladies Auxiliary, faithfully serving in numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Staff, Department Historian, and Membership Chairman. She was also a devoted member of the Post 717 St. John Ladies Auxiliary, where she previously served as treasurer. Her commitment to veterans and their families reflected her deep patriotism and desire to help others. In addition, Judith was a valued member of the St. John Women's Club, where she enjoyed fellowship and community involvement.
Judith had a special love for animals, especially her beloved cats, who brought her endless joy and companionship throughout her life. Her generous heart extended to many charitable causes, particularly organizations supporting animals, veterans, children, and cancer research and care.
She will be remembered for her compassion, dedication to service, warm spirit, and unwavering generosity. Judith leaves behind many loving family members, dear friends, and all those whose lives were enriched by her kindness. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
As per her wishes, Judith has been cremated, and a private service will be held.
