Lisa Kay Pasternak

Lisa was born December 13, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Valentino and Shirley (Mitchelar) Fazio. Also preceding her in death are her grandparents.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sydney Pasternak, Brent Pasternak, Adam Pasternak; grandson, Caden Pasternak; siblings, Mike (Kim) Fazio, Brian (Jessica) Fazio; former spouse, Peter Pasternak; and nieces and nephews, Kyle, Mallorie, Amanda, Madison, Riley, Vincent, Makenna, and Peyton Fazio.

Lisa is a 1987 graduate of T.F. South High School of Lansing, Illinois. She then graduated Purdue Calumet with a Bachelor's in teaching. She was a grade school teacher for Wentworth school district before raising her children. She was a loving and devoted mother and loved spending time with her family. Lisa also enjoyed spending time in Michigan near the water with family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 4:00 - 9:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375). Funeral services will be Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at Chapel Lawn with burial immediately following at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
