Robert L. Lees

Bob is survived by his wife, Phyllis; stepchildren, Kelly O’Keefe (John Quiroz) and Zachary O’Keefe; grandchildren, Madison Downs, Cynthia, Andrew, and Gabriella Quiroz; sister, Barbara Stoker; nephew, Sean (Danielle) Stoker; niece, Kelsey (Aaron) Buechel; and great-nephews, Bennett and Lukas Buechel.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Harriet Lees; and brother-in-law, James Stoker.

Bob was born February 26, 1954 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Grobe city College in 1976. He worked and retired as a supervisor for Arcelor Mittal Steel Mill with 30 years of service. Bob was an avid golfer and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In his pasttime, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Bob was a proud recipient of a double lung transplant in 2015 and strongly encouraged others to support organ donation. Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him.

A visitation for Bob will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 10:30 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
