Suzanne Allred

Suzanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 27 years, Glen Allred; her parents, Eric and Jane Batty; and her son, Guy Stephen Allred.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Jeffrey Glen Allred, Julie (Keith) McDonald, and Beth (Calvin) Wilson; her grandchildren, Caitlyn (Jordan) Tracey, Zachary (Maria) Adams, Nathan Adams, and Patrick McDonald; her great-grandchildren, Peyton, Adelyn, and Olivia Tracey, and Aria and Azalia Adams; and her brother, Ken (Carol) Batty.

Suzanne found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed completing puzzles, crocheting, and watching American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. She cherished time spent with her friends over lunch and held a special place in her heart for Little Point Sable, MI, where her son’s ashes are scattered. Above all, Suzanne’s greatest joy was being surrounded by her family.

A visitation to honor Suzanne’s life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN, 46307 on March 27, 2026, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Alsip, IL.
