

Born on June 29, 1956, in Hammond, IN, Terry was a passionate advocate for animal welfare and devoted his life to the preservation and conservation of countless species worldwide. His commitment to this cause was unwavering and heartfelt.
Terry will be remembered for many things, but his deep love for his children and his relentless dedication to his work stand out most. He leaves behind not only a grieving family and a network of close friends, but also a lasting impact on the global zoological community. His untimely departure has left a profound void that words cannot fully express.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Anthony J. DeRosa Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Todd) Wallace; his son, Christopher DeRosa; his mother, Yvonne Morgan; and his brothers, David (Jackie) DeRosa and Mark (Linda McCarthy) DeRosa.

A funeral service to honor Terry will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. He will be laid to rest next to his father at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
