Victor N Bonneau

Victor N. Bonneau, age 88, of St. John, IN passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013. He is survived by his two sons: Ron Bonneau and Craig A. Bonneau; two grandchildren: Amy E. Bonneau and Brad A. (Dawn) Bonneau; and three great grandchildren: Ryane, Carson and Ashlyn. Mr. Bonneau was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; and son, Steven Bonneau. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (one-half mile south of US 30) Schererville, IN with Rev. Melvin DeVries officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Mr. Bonneau attended the Village Church in Dyer, IN and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a retired auto mechanic and a longtime manager in the Dolton-Riverdale Little League. Mr. Bonneau was also an avid golfer and was active in the Thornton Historical Society.
