

Born on December 26, 1974, Alexis was a woman who spoke her truth with conviction and warmth. She was known for being friendly once you got to know her, and her opinionated nature was always rooted in care and authenticity. Protective of those she loved, Alexis was loyal to a fault — a steadfast presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to be close to her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Janice Hernandez, her sister Adrienne Cooper, and her nephew Joseph Hernandez. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Alexis is survived by her devoted father, Joseph Hernandez, and her brother, Ted Hernandez. She also leaves behind nieces Samantha Hernandez and Suzanne Hernandez, and nephews Aidan Carew, Austin Cooper, and Andrew Cooper, as well as numerous cousins — all of whom she cherished deeply.
A passionate lover of movies and books, Alexis found joy in storytelling and imagination. Her love of reading was a gift passed down from her mother, and it became one of her lifelong comforts and pleasures.
Alexis will be remembered for her bold spirit, her unwavering loyalty, and the love she poured into her family. Her voice, her laughter, and her presence will be missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
