Beatrice Joan Bonino

Passed away on July 26, 2014 at age of 98. She was born on May 19, 1916 to Camillo and Annaudora De Francesco in Glassboro, New Jersey. Beatrice is survived by her daughter Mrs. Linda Hafemeister and husband Bruce of Plano, TX; granddaughter Dr. Bryn Hafemeister of Dallas, TX; grandson Dr. Adam Hafemeister and wife Nicole of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and one great grand baby on the way. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she held in great affection. She was preceded by her husband Charlie Bonino. Beatrice loved to crochet. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Shawl Ministry and created many shawls and afghans for donation. She was an excellent cook and baker and found joy in feeding others saying “Mangia mangia!” Bea was the ultimate caregiver, always putting the needs of others before her own. She rarely ate a meal sitting down! Her family was her world. She was so very proud of her grandchildren. A memorial mass for Beatrice will be held on Wednesday, July 30th at 4:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Community, 2700 W Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shawl Ministry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton care of Tish Allen.
