Bobbee Wynnette Alexander McKinney

Born June 24, 1922 in Marshall, Texas, passed away on April 21, 2010 in Lewisville, Texas at the home of her daughter, Mary Ann Rose, following a courageous battle with leukemia. After the death of her husband Melvin K. McKinney in 2002, Mrs. McKinney moved to Dallas from Shreveport, Louisiana where she was a member of Asbury Methodist Church and Palmetto Country Club. In Dallas she was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her large family and many friends. Mrs. McKinney is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Rose; sons, Keith and Drew McKinney; son-in-law, Charles Rose and daughter-in-laws, Lyn and Charlotte McKinney, all of the Dallas area. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 pm on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 10 am at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX. Immediately following the services, the family will travel to Algoma Cemetery in Marshall, Texas for a 3 pm interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. McKinney to Heart to Heart Hospice, 1500 Waters Ridge Dr., Ste. 100, Lewisville, TX 75057.
