

Born on August 27, 1948 in Rocky Mount, NC. Bonnie graduated from Irvin High School in El Paso in 1966. She devoted much of her career to the children of St. Mark Catholic School, where she cherished her position as a pre-school music teacher. She and her late husband also portrayed Mr. and Mrs. Claus there at Christmas time.
A person of deep faith, Bonnie was a long-time member of St. Mark Catholic Church. Her life was marked by a profound commitment to her community and church, where she also directed her charitable efforts.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, William Kenney; her parents, Grover and Martha Gupton; her brother, Grover Gupton Jr.; and her sister, Linda Woodward. She leaves behind a loving family: her son, Robert Kenney; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Tom Madonna; grandchildren, Christopher and wife Cooper Madonna (and their expected child, Thomas), Ashley and husband Brannon Bradshaw (and their children, Clara and Clover), Megan and husband Charlie Davis (and their son, William, and expected child, Teddy); her brother, David Gupton; and cousins, Lila Murphy, and Grant and Michele Murphy.
Memorial services for Bonnie will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bonnie's memory can be made to St. Mark Catholic School at 1201 Alma Drive, Plano, TX, 75075, an institution close to her heart.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Grandbrook Memory Care in Allen and Hospice Plus McKinney for their exceptional care of Bonnie while managing her health journey. Their dedication to her comfort made her last year much more enjoyable.
Bonnie's legacy of warmth, generosity, and dedication to her community will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
