Cremation Rites will be accorded. A burial service will be held at a later date at Kingfisher Cemetery in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
Carolyn was born on December 11, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a daughter of her father: Herman Iselin and her mother: Barbara Jean Cook.
Carolyn married John Eric Lathrop on August 31, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years: John Lathrop of Plano, Texas.
She is also survived by one son: Johnny (wife Christie) Lathrop of Tyler, Texas and their three sons: Jack Lathrop, Dawson Lathrop, and Kacey Lathrop.
One daughter: Kara Lee Lathrop Fletcher of Rogers, Arkansas and her two sons: Riley Fletcher and Carter Flether.
One brother: Dennis Iselin of Enid, OK.
Carolyn loved many things throughout her life, but most importantly, family, her grandchildren, gardening, reading, traveling, and cooking.
She was a homemaker in earlier years, worked in the real estate profession for some time, and also worked as a florist. She had a passion for her flowers and her florist career.
She was very active in the Custer Road United Methodist Church in Plano for many years.
Carolyn and John enjoyed many trips throughout the United States, as well as Hawaii, England, and Scotland, just to name a few. Carolyn kept very detailed journals and notes about her travels.
She was very active throughout her life; she was always busy doing something or spending time with her friends. When she wasn’t busy doing one thing, she was busy doing something else.
Carolyn will be remembered and greatly missed her children, grandchildren, relatives and countless friends.
