Charles Harris "Chuck" Heilbron of Dallas, Texas, passed away on September 1, 2016 at the age of 77. He was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on March 6, 1939 to Sam E. and Ethel (Stekoll) Heilbron. A graduate of Hillcrest High School, Chuck attended the University of Texas at Austin before moving to Southern Methodist University where he earned his undergraduate degree. Nothing in the world, however, gave Chuck more pleasure or pride than his children and five grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, Brent Heilbron, Shawn Heilbron and wife, Bevin; grandchildren, Micah, Asher, Ramsey, Rockwell, and Quinlan; sister, Shirley Price; nephew, Lance Price; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ethel Heilbron and his son, Brian Heilbron.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 4, 2016 in the Chapel at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
