

Clifford Dale Chandler, 88, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. He was born on May 24, 1934, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Dale is the son of the late Roy Lee Chandler and Nellie Mary Ann Vanzant. Dale was a graduate of the University of Texas. After graduating, he worked for sixty years in community banking. He spent the last 18 years at Pavilion Bank in Richardson, Texas. He met Janet Hoehne in Austin, Texas and they were married in 1981. They had one son named Cody Chandler.
Dale had a passion for music. He was well-known for playing guitar and bass and singing country and gospel songs. He was a sports enthusiast, especially when it came to the Texas Longhorns. He was active in Toastmasters International where he shared skills of public speaking in leadership with others. His leadership skills and knowledge of banking were also recognized when he was selected to become a trainer and mentor within the American Institute of Banking industry. He was a man of faith and was actively involved at Heights Baptist Church.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nellie Chandler, and sisters, Nita Chanel and Helen Kidder.
Dale is survived by his wife, Janet Chandler, one son, Cody Chandler (Carol), three daughters, Rhonda Hamrick (John), Lisa James (Greg), and Shari McKoin-Manaton (Mike), his grandchildren, Jackie Lambert, Jenny Collen, Kyle McKoin, Mikey Chandler and Xyla Chandler.
Dale was a loving husband, devoted father, and grandfather, had a great sense of humor and he enjoyed time with his family. He will truly be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life for Dale Chandler will be held on Tuesday, April 25th at 2:00 pm at Heights Baptist Church, 201 W. Renner Road, Richardson, Texas 75080.
