Twin brothers Huxley Grey Gerrard and Cole Louis Gerrard, of Plano, TX, passed away on November 27th, 2025 at the age of 15. They were born in San Antonio, TX on May 18th, 2010, and were well known and deeply loved within each place they’d called home, including Central Texas, San Francisco, CA, and North Texas, where they’d resided since 2018.
The extraordinary bond they had with one another was undeniable. Their bountiful, joyful love of brotherhood and their twinness overflowed; it was an observable gift to those who knew them, often placing sweet smiles and expressions of wonder onto the faces of anyone who watched their interactions together. Cole and Huxley took great comfort in their own closeness, their shared silliness, and the knowledge that they’d always have one another.
An avid reader, a Hollow Knight and SilkSong expert, a creative percussionist, and a community volunteer, Cole was known for his caring kindnesses, his abundant hugs, his warm smiles and contagious laughs, and his remarkable ability to craft deeply humorous jokes with impeccable comedic timing. He loved making others feel happy and loved.
A bass singer in the Jasper High School Choir, a Valorant premier-team leader, a lifelong lover of animals, and an engaging conversationalist, Huxley was known for his loyal friendships, his active encouragement of others, his eloquence and quick wit, and his “aura-ful” presence. He loved learning about and spending time with others.
Huxley and Cole are survived by their loving parents, Clay Gerrard and Mandy (McClung) Gerrard, older brother Will Gerrard, a large and devoted extended family, and a remarkable number of wonderful friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 12th, 2025, at Custer Road United Methodist Church: 6601 Custer Rd, Plano, TX 75023
