Eunice Bowen, age 91 of Plano, Texas, passed away on December 15, 2012 in her home of 26 years. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 15, 1921 to Charles and Victoria Little. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Bowen and son Russell C. Bowen. Eunice had one brother, Roy Little, and a sister, Patricia Andrews. Eunice is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sheila Bowen, granddaughter, Victoria Bohland and her husband, Jeremy, and her great granddaughter, Tori Elizabeth Bohland, born November 12, 2012.
Eunice was a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit with both a BS and MA from the School of Education. Both Eunice and Harold were teachers and administrators with Detroit Public Schools. Eunice has been an active member of the P.E.O. sisterhood in both Michigan and Texas. She enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, knitting, sewing, and traveling. She was a member of Curves until July 2012.

A memorial service will be held at Ted Dickey West, 8011 Frankford Rd., Dallas, TX on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. A reception following the service will be held at 1604 Tawakoni Lane, Plano for friends and family. There will be a grave side service with family to bury her cremated remains in the fall of 2013 in Palmyra, Michigan where her husband, Harold, is buried.
