Evelyn G King

Celebrating the Life of Evelyn Gerturde King: Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, age 88, passed away on Monday, Wednesday, December 14 in Plano, TX. Evelyn was a true Texan, a Homemaker while her children were growing-up and later became a primary owner of K and K Machine Shop in Euless, Tx where she retired. She was born in Sedwick, TX on December 16, 1926 and raised in Albany, Texas where she graduated from Albany High School. Evelyn was the daughter of Sarah Arant Anderson and OL Anderson, she married to Billy C King on January 18, 1947 in Ft Worth TX and is Mother to their six children: Tommy Wade King, Vicki Lynn Stewart, Edward Allen King, Susan Leigh Green, Jennifer Diane Michelsen and Steven Michael King. Evelyn loved her Sunday afternoon drives through the Texas countryside and visiting with family and neighbors.

She is survived by all her children, grandchildren Chuck Stewart, Chris Stewart, Misty Merrill, Jeremy King, Nathan King, Julie Heller, Paige Lundy, Melissa Michelsen and Kathrine Michelsen; numerous great-grandchildren; and her sisters Frances Millican and Peggy Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill King; brothers: Leroy Anderson and Oscar Anderson; and sisters Pauline McKay, Lillian Roper and Betty Pierce.
