Norman Gene Bodes, 86, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025. Born April 13, 1939, in Enid, Oklahoma to Marguerite (Funston) and Dutch Bodes, Norman proudly served his country as a U.S. Air Force veteran. A devoted husband, he now joins his beloved wife, Ada, in eternal rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Norman will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering patriotism, and deep love for family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A graveside service to honor his life and service, celebrating a man who lived with honor and grace, will be held on November 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
