I was so saddened when I learned of Jose's passing.  I knew him for over 17 years, and he became more than just my gardener, and yard caretaker.  He became my friend; someone I sat and talked with, someone who comforted me through a serious medical diagnosis and someone who cared about my feelings when I thought I had lost my little toy poodle.  I remember that he went around the neighborhood looking for him with me.  It was a laugh for us - later, when he asked me if I had looked in the garage.  No, I hadn't, and my little guy had not let out a peep while we were calling his name.  Well, there he was - sitting in the middle of the garage when we opened the door!  I remember I started giving him an apple every time he came over to work in the yard, and that little 'tradition' continued for the years that followed.  I had just gone through major shoulder surgery a couple months ago, and Jose made sure that I didn't pick up anything heavy while he was there!  He will always be missed and in my heart!  I send my deepest sympathy to Jonathan and Heli and the entire Martinez family.

We offer our sincere condolences to Jose's family. We were so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.  May the Lord grant you comfort and peace during this difficult time.


Jose has been a trusted friend of my family for 20+ years and my family's heart is breaking for the Martinez family during this time. He was always there to lend a hand in every sense of the word and asking nothing in return. When my Dad passed away Jose came over every single day to check on my Mom and brother Roy.  And still was a friend to our family when we lost our Mom. So thank you Jose for being an amazing friend.

Asta pronto señor José gracias por todos los detalles que tuvo con todos siempre seras recordado por el gran ser humano el que siempre lo daba todo sin esperar nada a cambio, siempre te recordaremos con esa sonrisa y las anécdotas que nos davas no es un adiós es un asta pronto por que se que dios nos reunirá a todos aya arriba para seguir todos juntos como siempre lo asiamos. Descansa en paz 🕊🕊 

Nos duele tanto tu partida pero savemos que Dios lo quiso asi porque usted fue un hombre fuerte  , trabajador ,honesto, respetuoso y buen cosinero. Pero ante todo un buen Amigo nos enseño el significado de ser amigo le doy muchas  gracias a Dios por todos los momentos que pasomos juntos como familia te extrañaremos. Asta luego Jose😇🕊

Shared a life with you, I was there in the good and bad even when things didn't go well. Build a family and business together. You gave our sons Heli & Jonathan the knowledge and tools to be hard workers and help the one in need. Good memories will be remembered.
