Kathleen Rose Goetzinger, 82, of Plano, TX, passed away on February 23, 2024. She was born in Chicago, IL on July 26, 1941 to John Martin and Olivia Martin (Teeling). Kathleen graduated from Evergreen Park High School and later received a BA of Library Science from University of Maryland. She married Thomas Charles Goetzinger on August 13, 1960.
Kathleen worked as an elementary school librarian and she eventually retired from PISD after a long, rewarding career. In her spare time, Kathleen enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and reading a good book.
She is survived by her children: Deborah and Jake Krocheski, Thomas and Kendall Goetzinger, Virginia and Stefan Dosedel; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings: Steve, Bonnie and Terri.
A funeral will be held at a later date at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, TX.
