Molly Ruth Williams

Born December 9, 1930, she was the daughter of Mamie and Van Buren Thompson. She married Clarence “Bill” Williams in 1946 and celebrated 62 years of marriage prior to his passing. Molly was a volunteer for the St. Albans Police Department and also spent many years giving of her time to Thomas Memorial Hospital and the United Way. Over the years she was active in her church in Ocean Isle Beach, NC where she and her husband resided after retirement.

She is survived by her daughter; Sandy Sandlin and spouse Michael, daughter-in-law; Sheri Williams, grandchildren; Carrie Williams, Christopher Williams and Casie Cernat; great grandchildren, Cierra, Emilia, Christian, CamRon and Cherish; great-great grandchild, Penelope James all of Dallas, TX; nieces Linda Crum and Peggy Edwards of Cross Lanes, WV.

Molly is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Williams; son, James E. Williams; her mother, Mamie Thompson Daniels; father, Van Buren Thompson

Visitation will be held 5-7pm on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, TX. A private funeral for the immediate family will follow.

Burial will be at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans, WV.
