"Nikki" grew up in Allen, Texas and Wylie, Texas with her one older brother Presley Vaughan. They were close as children and had a loving relationship into adulthood.
"Nikki" graduated from Wylie High School in Wylie, Texas.
She had a huge heart, loved animals, loved being at the lake, enjoying nature and enjoyed all kinds of music. She loved rock, country and even Big Band era! Her favorite actor "hands down" was Jared Padalecki. She would watch Gilmore Girls, NCIS, Duck Dynasty and Supernatural.
Her family recalled a time when "Nikki" was 3 years old she thought the family's cats whiskers were too long, so she cut them off! Her mother, Amy was laughing so hard she couldn't even scold "Nikki" for it. "Nikki's" grandmother verified that Amy herself had done exactly the same thing to her cat at the same exact age!
