Rita Mae Joyce

Rita spent her childhood growing up in St. Louis, Missouri and after graduating from Southwest High School in St. Louis, she went on to spending many years as a dedicated security guard at the former St. Louis Post Dispatch and of Late at Securitas posted and Exxon Mobile Headquarters where she retired from.

She was fond of fishing, reading, and puzzles and loved her time with her Bingo group at Overland Missouri where she known to have a kind heart and loyal friend. She always prided herself on hard work and dedication to both her career, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Father James Edward Joyce, Mother Helen Marie (Raby) Joyce, Step sister Jo Ann Schrage, Step Sister Shirley McClure.

Rita is survived by her Sister Alice Vetter and Brother-in-Law John Vetter of Plano Texas, Brother-in Law Paul Schrage of Florissant Missouri, many nieces and nephews with all of their families.

A celebration of life for Rita will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas.
