

As the chief curator of Chinese antique ceramics at the Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan, Teresa dedicated her life to preserving and advancing the study of Chinese ceramic artistry. Her expertise, scholarship, and passion shaped the field, influencing collectors, academics, and art enthusiasts worldwide. Through her meticulous research and curation, she played a vital role in safeguarding some of the world’s most treasured artifacts, ensuring that future generations could appreciate the beauty and cultural significance of Chinese ceramics.
Beyond her extraordinary career, she was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose warmth, wisdom, and kindness touched all who knew her. She found her greatest joy in her family, sharing her love of art, history, and tradition with those closest to her.
She is survived by Husband Ronnie Tsao, Daughter Judy, Son Alex, grandsons, Justin, Brice, and Ethan. Her legacy endures not only through her scholarly contributions but also in the hearts of those who loved her.
A memorial service will be held on April 4th at 12pm at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush, Dallas, TX 75252, followed by a funeral service & witness cremation. Flowers are sincerely appreciated as a tribute to her memory.
She will be deeply missed, but her influence and passion for Chinese ceramics will continue to inspire generations to come.

懷著無比哀痛的心情,我們沉痛宣告 曹童依華女士與世長辭,於3月24日2025在睡夢中安詳辭世。
曹童依華一生致力於中國古陶瓷的研究與保護,並擔任 台北故宮博物院中國古陶瓷部門的首席策展人,在國際學術界享有極高聲譽。她的專業造詣與無與倫比的熱情,為中國陶瓷藝術的研究與收藏領域做出了卓越貢獻。她的精湛研究與策展工作,使無數珍貴文物得以保存,並讓世人得以領略中國陶瓷的歷史文化與藝術價值,影響深遠,恩澤後世。
在學術成就之外,她更是一位摯愛家人的妻子,母親與祖母,溫暖慈愛、睿智仁厚,深受親友敬愛。她熱愛生活,珍惜與家人相處的時光,將知識、傳統與文化傳承給後代,留下無盡的愛與回憶。她的音容笑貌將永遠銘刻於我們心中。
她的摯親包括曹健中,曹竹永,曹竹煒,謝天晉, 曹格郡, 和曹格銘,共同哀悼她的離去。
告別式將於4月4日2025中午12點在Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush, Dallas, TX 75252,舉行,敬請親友蒞臨,共同追思與緬懷她的一生。家屬誠摯接受花籃,以表達對她的敬意與思念。
她雖已安然長眠,但她的精神、學識與愛將長存於世,持續啟發與影響後人。
