I remember the exact day when I woke up on a mattress in the X-box room/second living room and saw you, wearing your high socks, jean shorts, funny t-shirt and smile. You looked over at me, and I asked you what time it was, and you told me it was six. Now, that's an example of one of my memories I'm going to keep of you. Deep in mind.
I remember spending Christmas Eve with you. We all would sit in the living room and open presents. I'd hug you when I got one from you. Everything you did made me smile. Everything you did made me happy, and of course, everything you did made me love you more, second by second. My previous memories of you are when we would always wake up early in the morning and go to Denny's. I'd always get pancakes with whipped cream, a cherry with bacon and sausage on the side, and you'd get the Grand Slam breakfast special. Always cracking me up, I felt happy everytime you were in the sight of my eyes. I loved to come over, see you and Grandma Barb, and we'd always look for little lizards in the hibiscus plants. I remember you'd listen to your Earth, Wind and Fire band while me, Lindsey and BJ swam. Whenever we were eating, you'd always tuck your napkin into your shirt of lay it down on your lap. When you'd come over for my birthday and sit by the pool watching me play with my friends and relatives. Every time I looked at you, I'd smile, thinking 'I love him sooooo much.'. And I did. Whenever I'd sit with you in your chair, I remember what you'd always ask me: "How come your so beautiful?" And, I'd say "Hm, I don't know. You?" You would then laugh with your same humble laugh. You were something that meaned a lot to me, and even though your in heaven your still everything to me. I remember you would tell me stories about working as a science teacher. When I came over (when we had a house showing), you'd always check my homework when I was done. You also would tell me how smart I was. My favorite memories are when you'd always chase us around the hall, making frightening noises, scaring us. And when I came over, I'd always sit in your lap while you sat in the chair, and we'd have a tickle fight, and I always ended up on the floor (haha!). I remember the time that when mom wasn't able to pick me up, you and Grandma came to my school and picked me up, and when we drove to your house, you would ask me, how was school? Whenever I said something funny about my day, you would laugh. And I'd laugh too. So would Grandma, and we would just talk more. Whenever we reached your house, I would get right on my homework, and you'd always offer me a Butterfinger, and I'd take one. You'd always offer me some kind of chocolate and we'd eat one together. I remember giving you a great big hug when I had to leave, and something I'm going to remember forever is when we'd always drive by your house, and you would sit in your chair. I'll always remember you loved Days of our Lives. I'm going to remember EVERYTHING you loved.
Another favorite was when my mom and dad were in Hawaii and I was staying at Grandma Debby's and Grandpa Ronnie's house. You had arranged to take me to Denny's one day staying over, and I remember seeing the car pull up in the driveway, and you guys wait for me. I happily ran out to the car and we drove to Denny's, and when I looked at you and smiled, you would laugh at me and tell me you loved me. 
And, when you were in the Garden's retirement home, you woke up and saw me, and I hugged you immediately. Seconds after I pulled away from that hug, you looked at me, smiling through your breathing treatment mask and you said "I love you", and of course I came back to that hug and said "I love you too.".

See? We have so many memories together that I could possibly NEVER forget. You meant a lot to me, gramps, and you still do. You always will, even when I'm your age, I'll look back and think of you, like I always do. You mean a lot to the family and I think that everyone knows that. Who could possibly ever dislike you? Not anybody I know. You weren't the enemy of anyone, and were the FRIEND of everyone. I love you lots and I will forever. I'm never ever EVER going to forget you, and if I do- well, that'll never happen though. When I grieve and cry, I then stop and know your in a better place. We didn't want you to suffer from dementia and lung cancer. We didn't want you to be in pain, and now your IN a pain free place.
We all miss you much and we will forever. I'm glad that all the memories are going to be kept deep inside my heart and mind forever and they'll never ever going to be forgotten. I think about you day and night, and someday I'll be able to tell my children and grandchildren about you. 
Once again, I love you so much. I hope your pain free and living good up in Heaven, and I know and have been told, we'll reunite again. And, I really believe that. Because, I don't know why I wouldn't.

I remember the days we spent the night at your house and we would go to Denny's the next morning. You listen to your fav. music by the pool with all of us. Coming to my house and enjoying time with us. All of those memories will be kept deep inside my mind and they're something I'll never forget. You always asked me how I got so beautiful, and I would always say "it must have to do with you.". Everything you did made me smile. I remember St. Podre beach with you. You held me in your lap and I slapped my hands into the wet sand that surrounded me. I will remember you always, and nothing can get me to forget you. I'm always going to think about you. And, we all miss you, and we love you that words can't explain. Your the best grandfather anybody in the world could ask for. I love you, and miss you. I cry about you a lot and grieve a while until I know your in a better place. Once again, I love you.

Dear Gramps, Thanks for being the best Grandpa ever. My favorite childhood memories and the most remembered were always over at Grandma and Grandpa's house, spending the night, waking up super early and always going out for breakfast at Denny's, having my Birthday Pool parties with all of the family there and even having my friends spend the night, dancing around the pool to Earth Wind and Fire with you, searching for lizards in all of your well-kept flowers and plants, playing hide-in-go seek with you and the funny noises you would make to try and scare us. I will never forget the 3 things you would always ask/tell me EVERY time I came over, how is school goin? How do you like your Science teacher? He any good? and how you would ALWAYS tell me how beautiful I got every time you would see me, and of course I got those good looks from you. Thanks to you, Science will always be my best and favorite class at school, you always made sure that I was doing well in science and I always was. I remember playing with all of your Science books from your School and your DNA molecule strand things that you put together. I remember Grandma picking me up from kindergarten and taking me over to the lab where you taught at RHS. That was the most excited thing to me ever, I loved it there. All of the fish tanks, iguanas, rabbits, mice, Microscopes with all these cool germs to look at. I even remember finding this little freckled blue bird egg and we put it in this Incubator to see if we could save it. Thanks to you, Grandpa, Im positive that my career will have to do with Science. You had the best personality, very easy going and you were always so goofy and silly, and you sure did like to have a good time out by the pool. There are many more things I could write to you about and share to every one but Im positive it wouldn't all fit into this box. I am SO lucky to have had a loving Grandpa like you and thank you for all of these wonderful memories that will forever live on in my heart, I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our condolences for your loss of Bill.  Though we haven't seen Barbara and Bill for a while, know that you were thought of often and with fond memories.  Just know that he is in a better place now with our Lord and all that have gone before us.  We know that he will be missed by all that loved him and learned from him.

From the moment I met you and saw that you were left-handed, I knew I was in for a whirlwind of intellectual stimulation.  Your corky yet sophisticated demeanor was a strong prescence to stand by.  I will ALWAYS remember your humble smile, polished white sneakers, pressed white coat, love for sweets and your coffee, your boyish haircut and dislike of ties, and your passion for knowledge.  You taught me so many lessons that I will one day teach my own children.  Your taught me that order can be found in chaos.  Although you had a ridiculously messy desk, you knew exactly where each piece of paper lay and the contents of its information.  You taught me that age is simply a number and to respect the youth for they will be the ones that teach you in the end.  You taught me to respect authority, but not fear questioning it if I felt my intigrity was being compromised.  Most importantly you taught me about committment.  I saw this by the shiny gold ring that ALWAYS so gently covered your left ring finger.  You wore that ring whether we were dissecting creatures or cleaning the greenhouse.  Your committment to your students, your animals, your children, grandchildren, and beautiful wife Barbara were unsermountably my fondest memory of you and I will forever be grateful for all that you did.  I miss you dearly, but know that you are finally rejoicing with the Heavenly Fathers and teaching them as you taught all of us.
