I miss you so much grandma. I still think about you everyday and keep my memories of you alive when I tell Dominic and Jiovanni, as well as  friends different things about you. Thank you for being my forever example of what a good & loving heart is, of treating others with kindness, and of being a wonderful human. I try my best to be like you. Doing life without you here hasn’t been easy, but knowing you are watching over us helps. I hope you are resting easy.

Hi Mom, tomorrow is your birthday and I am thinking of you as always. Amelia and I are in Merced for Cousin Mary Martinez’s funeral. She died on her 91st birthday.  Amazing.   I miss you 😘 a bunch but I know you are not suffering and in a much better place.

It's Christmas time mom and I miss you very much. It's been 5 long years and I still have a hard time believing you're not here.  I regret not being there when you left us and maybe that's why my closure is hard.  I always tried to do everything I could to make your life comfortable after dad past, so it was hard because you left us while I was in surgery.  I've just had my other knee replaced so it reminded me even more of your passing.  I miss both you and pops a bunch but life goes on.

Just wanted to say good night Grandma :) I feel so lucky to have you as my guardian angel watching over me & the 
boys. Until we meet again, have sweet dreams tonight & always. 
I love you & grandpa and continue to think about both of you everyday.

Hi Grandma! Happy TGIF! :) I hope your Friday in paradise has been a great one for you & grandpa, Uncle Eddie, Uncle Danny, Aunt Molly, Aunt Diane & Uncle Greg, Pinky & Great Grandma Rivera, & all others I didn't mention. I've still been pretty busy at work & remain to be grateful I have a job. The boys started school on Monday grandma. Dominic is a senior now! I can't believe it! :( The time goes by so fast grandma...too fast. Where does it all go....it seems like it wasn't too long ago it was me & him against the world, then Jiovanni came along, & before I knew it he's already where he's at now....a senior & months away from graduating. I'm very proud of him. Like anything/anyone, we have our days that we don't see eye to eye but I wouldn't trade it for anything & would relive it a million times over. Jiovanni started at a new school this year as a 2nd grader. At first he was a little hesistant & scared, but after only 1 week, he LOVES it!! The second day he told me he made 8 friends. :) He goes to the afterschool program & loves that too! He started going to karate 3x/week over the summer, but will now just go 2x/week so he doesn't fun Friday at the afterschool program. His new school isn't too far from my job, so starting next month I'm going to be volunteering at his school on my lunch hour as often as possible. I can't wait! I'm excited to do it & so is Jiovanni. I've still been playing softball & will soon start having practices with Jiovanni's baseball team that I coach---once the weather cools down. Dominic starts practicing on Monday for the fall ball season at his high school. :) Well grandma, it was nice talking to you. I hope you continue watching over me & the boys. Thank you for being our angel. I LOVE YOU BEYOND THE DEEPEST PART OF MY HEART & continue to keep the memories of you there. :) Until we meet again grandma, I'll feel you in my heart, I'll see you when I close my eyes, I'll hear your voice & laugh in my mind, & I'll talk to you later.

Hi Grandma, 
How was your day? My day was good. It's my busy 'season' at work now, so my 
day goes by fast. It's been so 
hot! But I'm grateful to have a 
job, let alone one indoors. :) 
The boys are doing good...growing up too fast. :( 
They're birthdays are around the corner! :) Dominic just got back from the Dominican Republic last week. He went for 7 days to play baseball. He had a game tonight in Clovis--he pitched & did really good. Jiovanni's season has been over, but I play catch with him as often as I can. He's so funny grandma! He does little exercises & tells me he's 'working out'. ? He's gonna be a great baseball player. He's a little toughie! Him & Dominic are so close & love each other so much! When Dominic does yardwork, Jiovanni wants to be right out there with him.  I'm very lucky 
to have 2 good, loving, funny 
kids. When me & Jiovanni say our prayers at night, he prays for his 'great grandma & great 
grandpa in heaven'....& Uncle 
Danny & everyone else up 
there. :) I'm playing in a softball
 tournament this weekend, 
hopefully I'll do well. :) I played 
last night & hit a ball clear over 
the guy in left field...got a triple
 out of it. :)

Hi grandma...It's been a year now since you left to heaven & not a day goes by that I don't think about you, that I don't wish I could give you a call & hear your voice--your reassuring words that everything would be ok, give you a hug--to feel true unconditional love, see your  face--it always put a smile on 
mine. I miss hearing your 
laugh & hearing you calling me 'ya ya' or your reina. I miss being amazed by your beauty- inside & out. Lucky for me,
whenever I want to be
reminded of any of this I don't have to go any further then my
heart...because that's where you & all the memories of you are. I'm sure you've enjoyed your stay there in heaven thus far & will continue to do so--you have the love of your life by your side again, Gloria Jean, Uncle Eddie, & now Uncle Danny. May you continue to enjoy the paradise you're in now.....I'll never be able to thank you enough for the love you gave me-it's irreplaceable & for showing me how to treat others-I will continue to do my best at treating others well.

Hi Mom, So how is heaven?  I'm so happy you are with your baby, sister Gloria Jean and your baby boy, Eddie.  You were there to celebrate Eddie's birthday and soon Gloria Jeans in August.  I still go see my big sister and take her flowers and visit Eddie when I can.  I'm glad that you no longer are in any pain, but will always have you in my thoughts, my prayers and in my heart.  I miss you soooo much, but I am happy that God let us have a very special angel.  Please watch over us until we get to heaven, your #1 son-in-law, Steve, sends his love. house & slept with you & grandpa will always be special. I still get so many compliments on the mexican blouse you gave me years ago that used be yours. Thank you for teaching the power of a grandma's love. Thank you for being beautiful inside & out. I'm sure I told you, but ever since I can remember when I 
get a compliment on how 
young I look my response is always the same--'I can thank get my mom & my grandma for that, they look so good & they're so pretty!' I picture your  face & can still hear your 
laugh..they in turn make me 
smile. I can hear your voice in

Good morning Mother, sent you a message last night but I guess it didn't go through.  Monday, June 18 was a sad day because that is when we let you go w/ the angels up to heaven.  You looked so beautiful in bright pink that I wore pink too!   As you know there were a lot of family & friends to say, "see you later".   This seems so unreal because we know you are still here in spirit and have not left us.  I thank God that he let us have you as our Mommie because you were the best, our #1.   I suppose Aunt Mary and Aunt Belen have showed you the ropes and you all have had a glass of wine together.   I'm so glad that Grandma had a such a big, sweet, special heart, because she left it with you to share w/ us.  I will miss jumping into bed w/ you and listening to your advice, stories about when you were growing up and when we were young.  Sorry I gave you a scare when I was little and drove the go-cart into the back of the Gabriels' truck, I guess that's what little dare-devil girls do.  I will listen to the music you enjoyed and think of you & Pinky.  I will play it loud like I would at the nursing home.  God will help ease the pain of you not physically being w/ us until we are together again in heaven.  My love w/ you always and with Sister, Dad and Eddie.  I love you w/ my big heart.

Hi Mom, I love & miss you sooooo much.  I'm so glad that God let me be with you Sunday night and that you were still awake.   I jumped into bed with you so we could talk about your day.   You no longer have to go through dialysis and are now in God's paradise.  We are happy everyone at the Delano  Skilled Nursing facility took good care of you.  My heart is hurting but it"s not broken because we know we will see each other again.  Thank you for being so sweet & strong, for your loving & caring ways, for all the encouragement & strength you gave your family, teaching us right from wrong and always being there when we needed you.  "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are gray, you'll never know dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away".  Thank you for teaching me that song and thank you for putting up with me every time I sang it.  I am so glad that God let us have you for our mom. Give our love to sister Gloria Jean, Dad and Eddie.  I love you with my big heart mom, until we meet in heaven.

I will always remember my beautiful Aunt Gloria for her kind heart.  Memories of her will always be in my heart.

My earliest memory of my favorite Aunt Gloria is when I was 3 and she read Green Eggs and Ham to me on a road trip to Mexico. She was always there for me during the special times in my life and the difficult times too. I will always appreciate her beautiful happy smile and her positive loving energy. I will always respect her closeness to my Uncle Ben and ability to raise such a wonderful strong family. She will be missed so much but never forgotten.

To the best Grandma ever. There are so many great memories I have of you. I'll never forget our special slumber parties when you lived with us, sharing a room, sleeping on the trundle bed while lifting it up so it was the same height as my bed so we can have one super big bed, singing Titanic's My Heart Will Go On to you, you giving me a dollar for lunch each day, and always having Little Debbie's to go with your coffee. Knowing you are in a better place is soothing, but still hurts that you are gone. I'm sure Grandpa and my dad are showing you the ropes. Always know that you are missed and loved.
