Ann Louise Boyd, 75, of DeQuincy, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 28, 1943 in Houston, TX. She was the office manager at Water District #7 for 25 plus years. She always had a smile on her face and was always eager to help in any way she could. She enjoyed bowling in her early years and loved to fish.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John L. Boyd, Sr.; two sons, Larry Bitner of Cherokee, Kansas, John L. Boyd, Jr. and wife Billijo of Lake Charles, LA; two daughters, Ann Marie Morgan and husband Nathan of Cleveland, GA, Tammy Guidry of DeQuincy, LA; one sister, Carlene L. Durbin and husband Dolan of Stafford, TX; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren, with one on the way; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lucille Windt.
Services will be held at 11:00am at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in DeQuincy on Monday, March 5, 2018 with Father Eddie Richard and Father Edward Brunnert officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Snider Funeral Home on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 5:00-9:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:00pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, from 9:00am until the procession to the church. Burial will follow at Rigmaiden Cemetery in DeQuincy.
