

Carolyn Ann Perry Tucker, 63, passed away peacefully in her residence. She was born in DeQuincy, LA., and lived in Moss Bluff, LA., and was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Hyatt High School in 1965, loved watching and feeding her backyard birds and her fish. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved her time with the grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother, Lucille Perry of Fields, LA., son, Todd Tucker and wife, Melecia of Lake Charles, LA., daughter, Christie Tucker Gore and husband, Freddie of Silsbee, TX., brother, Burgess Jesse "Rusty" Perry II of Springfield, MO., sisters, Cindy Desonnier and husband, Dirk of Carlyss, LA and Tina Mears and husband, Randy of Fields, LA., 3 grandchildren, Kyndell Gore, and Ashland and Gavin Tucker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dean Tucker.
Services will be Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10a.m. in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy, LA.. Rev. Rodney Boyer will officiate. Burial will be in Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft, LA., under the direction of Hixson-Snider Funeral. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 19 from 4-9p.m. in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home and will resume on Thursday from 8a.m. until time of service.
