Davy James Burnett

He was born in Kinder and lived in Vinton. Hank spent his younger life in DeQuincy. He worked as a superintendent for Ohmstede Construction. He was of the Baptist faith. Hank loved fishing, facebook, camping, the outdoors and he especially loved his family and children.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marcy Broussard Burnett; sons, Luke LeBouef, Jeremy Lee and Jerry Lee; daughter, Kaeleigh Burnett all of Vinton; father, J.P. Burnett of Oretta, LA; stepfather, Pandy Bennett of Hargrove, LA; Hanks Babies, Brent, Cindy, Darrell “DY”, Conner, Brenna, Krysta and Kassidy; sister, Shelia “Punkin” Burnett Cobler of Oretta, LA; stepbrother, Chris Bennett of Hargrove, LA; nephews Rodney Chesson, Korey Broussard, Steven Reed and Kyle Kibodeaux; nieces, Adyson Kibodeaux and Alexis Broussard. He was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Bennett and his brother, Wallace Burnett.

A memorial visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 10a.m. to 2p.m. at Hixson Snider Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will begin at 2p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Nugent and Rev Mark Schultz officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to help with expenses.
