Freddie Marie Gilland, 86, of Vidor, TX, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at her residence. She was born to her late parents, James and Myrtle Hiner on January 31, 1932 in Starks, LA. She was a homemaker all of her life.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Gilland and wife Valerie of Vidor, TX, Thomas Gilland and wife Cathy of Mississippi; two daughters, Latricia Mabry of Vidor, TX, Letha Trahan and husband Michael of Groves, TX; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gilland, Sr.; one daughter, Virginia Lee Thomas; and her parents.

A Graveside Service will be at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields, LA on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 10:00am. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com. Services entrusted to Hixson Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
