Starks - Ginger Lou Stanley, 68, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of the Green Island Community, Ginger was a Honor Graduate of Starks High School. She loved gardening and was a thoughtful person who put everyone else before herself. She was a sweet, smart, and classy lady. Ginger was a loving wife, mom and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, John David Stanley of Starks; daughter, Amanda McCaughey and husband Thor of Vinton; grandchildren, Mallory Glenn of Moss Bluff, Jacob McCaughey and Zane McCaughey of Vinton. She was preceded in death by her husband Dwight David Stanley and her parents, Loyd and Hattie Stanley.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00am Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Lunita Pentecostal Church with Rev. Roy Hoosier officiating. Burial will be in Hyatt Cemetery.
