

DeQuincy - James “Crazy Jim” Suchanek, 52, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at his residence.
James was life-long resident of DeQuincy and worked for Nasa in Florida. He was an avid Harley rider and rode with his brothers of Vietnam Vets / Legacy Vets M/C worldwide. He loved spending time with his daughter Tiffanie and his grandson, Matthew "Lil Earl". He enjoyed cutting up and making friends and family laugh.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Nicholas (Nick) Winkler and James (Jim) Suchanek and his father, James Huey Suchanek. Survivors include his mother, Martha (Becky) Suchanek of DeQuincy; two daughters, Tiffanie Suchanek of DeQuincy and Amanda Fafard of Singer; sisters, Catherine A. Marcantel and husband Greg of DeQuincy and Connie W. McDonald and husband Jay Dale of DeQuincy; brother, William Edward Suchanek and wife Joey of Pearl, Ms.; grandchildren, Matthew (Lil Earl) Gearen, Christopher Sanders, Sara Underwood and Kara Underwood.
Visitation will be on Friday August 31, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hixson Snider Funeral Home Chapel and continue on Saturday from 9:00 until 11:00 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 2:00p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church in DeQuincy .
