Judy Elaine Smudricks, 68, of Vinton, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at her residence. She was born to her late parents, Carvin and Josefine Smudricks on March 12, 1951 in Anthony, New Mexico. She enjoyed Mardi Gras, sewing, and fishing with her family. Her biggest pride and joy was keeping her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Tiffany Fountain and husband Gary of Milam, TX, Tommy Royer and wife Shanon of Bancroft, Kimberly Royer and fiance' Wesley White of Vinton; brothers, Johnny Smudricks and wife Louise of Sulphur, Sam Smudricks of Sulphur; sisters, JoAnn Baker of Arkansas, Susan Marcantel and husband R.L. of Sulphur, Frances Smudricks of Sulphur; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, half brothers, half sisters, and cousins.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 10:00am with Bro. Russell Beard officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00am until the time of the service.
