

Kenneth Lynn Malone, 76, of DeQuincy, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital. He was born on December 16, 1940 in DeQuincy, LA to parents Marvin and Grace Malone. He was an avid fisherman, and loved everything about it. He would fish whether he felt like it or not. Kenneth loved his wife, grandchildren, and all of his other immediate family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Nora Malone of DeQuincy; two sons, Tim Malone and wife Tonya of Old Salem, TX., Marv Malone of DeQuincy; one brother, Clifford Malone and wife Nell of DeQuincy; two sisters, Anna Rose Guillory and husband Bill, Elmira Fontenot, both of DeQuincy; two grandsons, Bryan Malone and wife Kristyna of Kirbyville, TX., Jason Malone and fiancé Ashley of Old Salem, TX.; along with two great grandchildren, Kenneth Cade Malone, and Michael Anthony Malone, both of Kirbyville, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents; along with daughter, Grace Lynn Malone.
Services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Hixson Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy with Rev. Carlton Jackson and Rev. John Carroll officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pm and will resume on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery.
