Kristopher "Eli" Swann, 45, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Sulphur, Louisiana. He was born to his late parents, Leslie C. Swann and Andree Swann on October 26, 1977 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He loved to preach and never took that calling for granted. Kristopher enjoyed camping in his younger years, and loved spending time with his family; especially his kids.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa Swann of DeRidder, Louisiana; children, Ben Swann, Lizzy Swann, Elia Swann, and Kagen Jacobs; two sisters, Stephanie Hays Lozano of Knoxville, Tennessee and Allison Swann-Davis (Alva Davis) of Katy, Texas; his second father, Bill Lindley of Portland, Texas; along with his friends and church family.
A Celebration of Kristopher's life will be held at Temple Baptist Church in DeQuincy, Louisiana on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Bill Lindley, Bro. Dwayne Hyatt, and Bro. Bruce Austin, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm.
